Description

How one conversation can change the trajectory of your business – and your life.

Twenty years ago, Darya Simanovich arrived in London with £300, limited English, and no network.

Today, she builds businesses, mentors founders across the UK, and supports the growth of London’s entrepreneurial ecosystem through London & Partners.

Her own growth didn’t come from privilege, perfect timing, or a silver bullet but from a set of practical, repeatable hacks, including her business-changing 100 Coffees Strategy. Her frameworks have already helped hundreds of entrepreneurs start and grow businesses.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or scaling what you’ve already built, The Immigrant Entrepreneur will help you:

• Break through the mindset blocks holding you back

• Set goals that actually move the needle

• Grow without investors, and instead use relationships and real-world networking

You don’t need confidence, clarity, or connections to begin. You just need one conversation – and a coffee.

Praise for The Immigrant Entrepreneur

'In The Immigrant Entrepreneur, Darya Simanovich shares the hard-won lessons of starting over in a new country and building multiple businesses from scratch. From the “100 Coffees” (and “kissing 100 frogs”) strategy to practical, no-nonsense growth hacks, this book is a straight-talking guide for anyone who wants to turn ideas into income—without burning out or pretending it’s easy. Honest, empowering, and refreshingly real, this is entrepreneurship for people who show up, do the work, and keep going when it gets uncomfortable.' Julie Chen, Chief Executive Panda & Co-founder

'The 100 Coffee strategy, which I learned from Darya, has been a complete game changer for me when it comes to expanding my network, so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book, and it turns out it’s an absolute must-have for any new or growing entrepreneur. It will save you months, if not years, of going down rabbit holes trying to figure out the fastest route to success. Every chapter is packed with value on top of value on how to succeed, not just in business, but in life. There’s an unstoppable version of you waiting on the other side of finishing this book.' Kate Capelli, Business Growth Coach for Coaches

'Darya’s down to earth, relatable and highly infectious energy that continues inside her book makes you forget about all your blocks and barriers and build your dream business with unstoppable passion. It's the first business book I have come across that also has the neurodivergent entrepreneur in mind. The simple strategies make starting and continuing your business easily achievable without feeling overwhelmed. I hope it is the first of many!' Júlia Janíková, Nurture Connections Business Founder

Darya Simanovich is an entrepreneur, business advisor, and creator of practical frameworks to help founders build resilient businesses. She arrived in the UK with just £300, little English, and no network, and went on to start 15 companies from scratch – ten failed, five succeeded, and one, Chelsea Crêperie, she successfully sold.

She is the founder of Chelsea Swim Spa, manages short-term rental properties for filming and advertising, and runs MasterMinds and events for entrepreneurs and want-reneurs. Darya is a Business Support Manager at London & Partners, a graduate of the Oxford University & Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Growth Programme, an ILM-qualified business mentor, and a mentor for the Help to Grow programme and the British Library. She has spoken at The Start-Up Show, Thrive, Visibility Fest and other business events.

A mother of three, Darya writes to prove that if she can build several businesses from nothing, anyone can.
